Having a quick and easy 3 ingredient Tomato Sauce handy helps a lot, especially if you want to make a quick Bread Pizza.
While I have prepared many such sauces with quite some more ingredients included, I wanted to check if with just 3 does the sauce taste good. Of course, this is a condiment and comes handy when you want to make quick snacks for kids. So I just went ahead and made this sauce with just butter, onions and tomatoes. I only added about 1/2 tsp of salt and know when I use it with the main food, it will be enough.
I had some other ideas for this theme and as always in the last moment, ended up making something completely on spur of the moment! Sunday was well spent with me trying to cook as much as I could. I fit all those somehow into the meal. Else it becomes too much of a hassle trying to figure out how I could get that completed.
I was supposed to cook for my Mega BM, however, I realized my fourth week is still not done and had to get that done. And then I realized that I haven't even completed my third week cooking. I really wondered what happened to my planning. Unlike some in my BM group, I don't have a magic folder. Given the fact that I select the themes, many may think I will have all the themes done and dusted. However, my thrill is about picking up interesting themes as I think about it, I hardly get time to cook them ahead!
Well so for the second day of 3 Ingredients, it is easy Tomato Sauce.
