Easy Thakkali Sadam is the neivedyam for Navratri Day 5. I opted to make this spicy using masala powder and also used cooked rice, which makes this really very fast. This is yet another no onion, no garlic rice, very apt for Navratri Season. I have already shared couple of other Thakkali sadam one in 2013 and few other versions as well.
With Kids school closing for pooja holidays, they are at home, feeling bored already on the day 1 itself. They have a weeks off and I am not sure what they will want to. The climate has been very chill since morning, with drizzle happening occasionally. I am missing my regular Madras rains this year!
