Green Garlic Pulao is an easy and quick rice dish made with fresh garlic. The mildly spiced rice pairs well with any meal.

I was first introduced to this fresh garlic when we had visited Ahmedabad for our 25th BM Meet. Later Vaishali got it for us and we had made a pulao with it. So when I was planning a list for quick dishes, I remembered it and Vaishali for the recipe. She was so sweet to get it for me as well.

She had sauteed the green garlic in ghee and salt and froze it. So this frozen green garlic stays good for over 6 months. This time, we went one step ahead and I had Vaishali visiting me on a Sunday. She was keen on helping me covering a handful of dishes.

So this was one of the dishes we cooked together. It was such a fun day, with us planning on how to plan all the dishes we planned. If you noticed the plating is different from my usual, then all the credit goes to Vaishali for having done an outstanding job on it!

One of the most interesting activities I always find is cooking with somebody else. I enjoy doing that with Amma. I realized this is surely something so wonderful doing with friends as well. All the dishes we prepared were so delicious that we would surely want to make it again.

Green Garlic Pulao is the pick for G in the AtoZ Quick Under 30 Minutes, which is my theme in the Biryanis, Pulaos, Khichdi, and Mixed Rice, where I am doing Quick Under 30 Minutes Meals. If you want to read some elaborate Biryanis, check out what I have for G in Spice your Life!
