Hare Chane Ka Pulav is a quick and easy rice dish you can make with fresh chana. With just basic spices, this is a good one to assemble very quickly for lunch.
When Vaishali got me the fresh Chana, she had shared Cholia Chawal, I also thought I would make something with the fresh chana for H. I had decided on a recipe that used coconut in it. Vaishali said we can't call it Hare Chane and use coconut as it's not used in North.
She made this as quickly it can be possible, while we were also planning for another elaborate dish. On the day we cooked, I was thinking maybe we might end up with a load of vessels to wash. However, we ended up washing the same small pressure cooker and made almost 3 to 4 dishes in the same one.
This is yet another easy dish you can plan when you are going to pack for your kids.
Hare Chane Ka Pulav is the pick for H in the AtoZ Quick Under 30 Minutes, which is my theme in the Biryanis, Pulaos, Khichdi, and Mixed Rice, where I am doing Quick Under 30 Minutes Meals. If you want to read some elaborate Biryanis, check out what I have for H in Spice your Life!

Green channa pulao is a winter favourite in our house . We even use the left over channa sabzi to make the rice as the gravy is made with onions and tomatoes .
I am glad we could manage with minimum vessels , and it sure was fun cooking with you .
