Mint Raita or Pudina Raita is a popular Indian-style mint yogurt dip. We make it with fresh mint leaves, curds/yogurt. Further, spice it with Indian spices to make it a delicious accompaniment for biryani or even parathas

We make this easy and simple-to-make raita with freshly ground mint leaves along with green chilies and spice powders. Mix it with thick curds to make it a lovely accompaniment for any paratha or a spicy biryani. It tastes great if you serve it chill, so you can set it in the fridge until serving.

I made this as part of another mega thali and it was a perfect dish to make. I am not into making different raitas as most times I settle with Onion Raita. With the theme being a Mega BM on Thali, I wanted to experiment with different raitas.

This Mint Raita was part of the Punjabi Amritsari Kulcha Thali, which had delicious Amritsari Aloo Kulcha along with Amritsari Chole, Pyaz Imli ki Chutney, Pudina Raita, and Gulab Phirni

Curds - Thick curds blended with salt and mixed with the fresh mint paste. You can chill it before serving it.

    Serving Suggestion

This is one of my most favorite flavors in raita and looks absolutely scrumptious.
