    Quick and Easy Chicken Fry

    Quick and Easy Chicken Fry is just what the name says, this gets done very quickly as we deep fry the chicken. Konda is very fond of dry starters and semi sautes as well, whereas my boys like chicken dishes like the Chicken 65 or Chilly Chicken. If we make any semi saute, they don't prefer much. So a couple of weeks back, we decided we should make a dry starter and this was replicated from one of Amma's written notes.

    Though I have so many dishes yet to be shared on this space, April Mega Marathon kept me so busy that I haven't been able to post anything here. I decided it was high time. Also, April marks 10 years of blogging and I can't let the milestone cross without celebrating. So I will be announcing an event soon.

    Quick and Easy Chicken FryChicken Fry ~ Quick and Easy Chicken Starter

    For Chicken Marinade

    1/4 kg Chicken
    Salt to taste
    1 tsp Red Chilli powder
    1/2 tsp Pepper powder

    For Coating

    1 Egg
    3 tbsp All Purpose Four

    Other Ingredients

    Cooking Oil for Deep Frying
    3 Cloves Garlic
    1 tsp Tomato Sauce
    2 tsp Cooking Oil

    For Chicken Marinade

    In a bowl, take all the ingredients needed to marinade. Mix well. Keep it aside for 10 to 15 mins.

    For Coating the Chicken

    Dip the marinated chicken in maida flour, then dip into egg and then roll into maida again. Deep fry. Drain and keep it aside.

    For Tossing the Chicken

    In a nonstick pan, heat 2 tsp oil add chopped garlic, tomato sauce, then add the fried chicken and toss in it.

    Serve hot.
