Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Fresh Chana
  • 1/2 cup Onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp Cooking Oil

Instructions

  • Wash and soak the rice for 15 mins.
  • In a pressure cooker, add oil and saute the onions till pink.
  • Then add the ginger garlic paste, saute well.
  • Next add the tomato puree, fresh chana and combine.
  • Add the drained rice and mix well.
  • Now add the spice powders and salt, add water.
  • Cover with lid and cook for 3 whistles.
