  • 1 cup Potato boiled and mashed
  • 2 Green Chillies split
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • A Pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • A Pinch Dry Mango Powder / Amchoor


How to make No Onion No Tomato Aloo Sabzi

  • Microwave the potatoes and mash roughly.
  • Heat a nonstick pan with cooking oil, add cumin seeds, hing and green chilies.
  • Next, add the boiled potatoes and saute in the oil for a couple of mins.
  • Then, add all the spices and mix well.
  • Add enough water and bring to a boil. Mash some potato completely into the gravy to give body to the gravy.
  • Simmer for few mins. Serve with pooris.
