Mushroom Pepper Chilli Fry

Mushroom Pepper Chilli Fry is a dry saute made with button mushroom and all three colored capsicums or Bell Peppers. This dry saute can be enjoyed as such or as a side dish during a meal.

Ingredients

  • 250 gms Mushroom
  • 1 cup Capsicum all colors
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 3 to 4 Green Chillies
  • 3 to 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Cooking Oil
  • A Pinch Tumeric Powder

Instructions

  • Wash and chop the mushrooms.
  • Chop all capsicum as 1 inch squares.
  • Similarly, chop the onions and tomato
  • Slit the green chillis lengthwise and have it all ready.
  • Heat a nonstick pan with oil, saute the chopped garlic, green chilies, onions for 5 mins.
  • Then add the tomato, capsicum.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and cover with a lid, simmer for 5 mins.
  • Add Mushroom and all the spice powders and cover and cook for just 3 mins
  • Mushroom gets cooked in 3 minutes and also lets out water. So there is no need to add water
