Wash and soak the rice for 20 mins.
In a nonstick pan, heat ghee, add all the spices and saute for a couple of minutes.
Then add the drained rice, turmeric powder and saute well.
Add coconut milk along with water and salt, bring to a boil
Cover with lid and cook for 10 mins.
Fluff the rice once it is cooked and transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with fried onions, nuts along with your favorite curry or Dhal as I did.
