Sheera | Rava, Wheat Flour Halwa

This halwa or sheera is a delicious mix of Rava and Wheat flour. This is an apt prasadam you can make during this Navratri Season.

  • 3/4 cup Ghee
  • 3/4 cup Semolina / Rava
  • 3/4 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2.5 cup Water
  • Handful Cashew Nuts


  • Heat the ghee in a nonstick pan, roast the cashew nuts till golden, drain and keep it aside.
  • Add the rava, roast well for a couple of minutes.
  • Then add the wheat flour and combine both together and continue cooking for 5 more minutes.
  • Add water and simmer. Cover with a lid and let it get cooked for 5 mins.
  • Now add the sugar and mix well. Cook for another 5 to 7 mins.
  • Finally, add the roasted cashews and mix.
  • Offer as Neivedyam and partake!
