Wash and soak rice for 20 mins.
Boil to boil a huge pan of water and cook washed soya chunks for 10 mins. Drain and squeeze out water.
In a nonstick, add butter, add the soya and toss with salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder. Saute for couple mins. Keep it aside.
In a pressure cooker pan, add oil, add all the whole spices, saute for a min. Then add ginger garlic paste, slit green chilies, onions. Saute till the onions turn colour.
Then, add drained rice and combine everything. Add the spiced soya chunks, thick coconut milk, and water. Add salt and bring to boil.
Pressure cook till done.
