Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cauliflower / Gobi Florets
  • 1 cup Besan / Gram Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Xacuti Masala Powder
  • A Pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Cooking Oil for deep Frying

Instructions

  • Wash and clean the cauliflower. Soak in hot water mixed with salt and turmeric powder.
  • Keep it covered for 10 minutes, then drain and keep the cauliflower ready.
  • Take the cauliflower florets in a wide bowl.
  • Sift the besan to ensure there are no lumps, toss the drained cauliflower, salt, and spice powders.
  • Make sure the florets are well coated.
  • Now sprinkle water to make sure the flour coats the florets well. Adjust spice and keep the oil for frying.
  • When the oil is hot, deep fry in batches and cook on both sides.
  • Drain on a kitchen towel and serve hot as a side dish for rice or evening snacks.
