Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Icing Sugar / Confectioners' Sugar, sifted
  • 2 tsp Butter soft
  • 3 tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Milk Powder
  • 1 tsp Milk

Instructions

How to make Chocolates Balls

  • Mix all the ingredients into a dough like consistency, using milk only if mixture is too dry.
  • Shape and leave to dry till outer layer is dry enough to handle.
  • Store in an air tight container. Else, wrap in paper and store.

Notes

Optional Ingredients
You can use chopped nuts, rice crisps, chocolate chips to make this more rich.
You will need to add milk only if required, so be cautious when adding it.

Essential Kitchen Notes

  • Icing Sugar: In the US, this is labeled as Confectioners' Sugar or Powdered Sugar. Sifting is vital here to keep the truffles smooth!
  • Milk Powder: For the best "fudgy" results, use Full Cream Milk Powder (like Nido).
  • The "Milk" Step: Be very careful with the 1 tsp of milk—add it drop by drop. You want a stiff dough, not a sticky paste.
  • Toppings: For a professional look, roll the finished balls in extra cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or crushed sprinkles.
