For the Fish Marinade
250gramsBasa Fish
1/2teaspoonSalt
1/2teaspoonTurmeric powder
1teaspoonGinger Garlic
1teaspoonRed Chili Powder
1tablespoonLemon Juice
1Egg
1tablespoonAll Purpose Flour
1tablespoonCornflour
Cooking Oil for Deep Frying
For the Saute
2teaspoonCooking Oil
5Garlic Cloves

2sprigs Curry Leaves
4Green Chillies finely chopped
1tablespoonRed Chili Paste
1teaspoonCoriander Powder
Salt to taste
1teaspoonSoya Sauce
1/4cupCurd / Yogurt
1/2teaspoonPepper Powder
Instructions
For the Fish Marinade and Fry
Wash and slice the basa fish into 2 inch pieces.
Drain and take in a bowl. Add salt, ginger garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, mix it well.
Then add egg, cornstarch, all-purpose flour, mix this well and deep fry on medium flame. Keep it aside.
For the fish saute
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger, garlic, green chilies, curry leaves, chili paste, coriander powder, salt, soya sauce, curds, pepper powder, chopped coriander leaves, saute this for a couple of minutes.
Next add the fried fish, toss it and squeeze in some lemon juice.
Your delicious Apollo Fish Fry is now ready to serve.
