Ingredients

  • 80 grams Butter unsalted
  • 130 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour / Maida
  • 1.5 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup Milk or as required
  • 200 grams Condensed Milk

Instructions

For Brown Butter

  • Heat the butter over medium flame until you start seeing the butter melting and turning clear.
  • After 2 minutes, the butter will turn to brown, almost golden colour, with foam coming up on top.
  • Allow it to cool down for 5 mins.

Making the Batter

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, take chopped dark chocolate and microwave for a minute.
  • Remove and stir well using a spatula to melt the chocolate.
  • Add the brown butter to this and combine well.
  • Next, add the condensed milk and mix. The batter will be a thick batter.
  • You can next add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • The batter will become very thick, so add milk as required to get a slightly pourable batter.

Baking the Brownies

  • Preheat the oven to 180C
  • Line an 8inch square baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Transfer the batter to the tray.
  • Bake the brownie at 180C for 25 minutes.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
