Cauliflower Au Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 2 tbsp White Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Cheddar Cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp Pizza Cheese grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and dice the cauliflower into small florets. Add about 1/2 cup water and microwave for 5 mins.
  • Drain the water and add to the bowl.
  • Add the white sauce, milk, mix well.
  • Then add onion powder, garlic powder, 1/2 tsp red chili flakes, pepper and mix well.
  • Transfer this to the baking bowl.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the mix and top with grated cheese.
  • Sprinkle pepper and red chili flakes more if required.
  • Preheat the oven to 185C and bake for 15 to 20 mins.
  • Serve hot.
