Cheese Potato Stacks

Cheese Potato Stacks makes a wonderful party starter for kids. This is cheesy and totally indulging to dig into these stacks.

Ingredients

  • 2 large Potatoes about a cup full
  • 3 tsp Garlic butter
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cheese Slice

Instructions

  • Wash and peel the potatoes and let them soak in water.
  • Using a mandolin, slice potatoes into thin discs and place them back in the water until use.
  • Make a mix of garlic butter, grated cheese along with salt, pepper, and toss.
  • Drain the potato chips, pat them dry and transfer to a bowl.
  • Grease the muffin tray with garlic butter and stack the potatoes in layers.
  • Top with small bits of sliced cheese, sprinkle Italian seasoning, a bit of salt.
  • Preheat the oven at 185C and bake the stacked potatoes for at least 45 to 50 mins.
  • Mine almost took 55 mins to get baked.
  • Serve hot as starters
