Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sweet Potato
  • 2 - 3 tsp Sugar
  • 4 - 5 tsp Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Handful Mixed Nuts

Instructions

How to make Sweet Potato Halwa

  • Wash and boil the sweet potato for 3 whistles or until boiled soft.
  • Drain and let it cool down. Peel the skin and mash well to a paste.
  • Heat a nonstick pan with ghee, roast the mixed nuts and then add the mashed potato.
  • Saute well until the paste is nicely cooked, takes about 5 to 7 mins. Next add the sugar and combine well. Let it simmer for few more minutes.
  • Add milk and cook for another 2 mins.
  • The halwa is ready.
