Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Banana
  • 1 cup Demerara Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 cup Curds
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup Cooking Oil

Instructions

How to make Eggless Double Chocolate Banana Bread

  • Since the banana I used were not ripe, I microwaved it for 2 mins.
  • Sift the flour along with baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder and keep it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, take the demerara sugar, add the oil and curds. Beat well for about 5 to 7 mins.
  • Add the soft bananas and blend well.
  • Now, add the flour and mix it gently. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Since the batter was very tight, I added 1 tbsp of water to make it lose.
  • Pre-heat the oven at 185 C.
  • Transfer the batter in a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven for 40 minutes. I checked at 35 mins and baked for another 5 mins.
