Ingredients

Ghee Biscuits Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup All-Purpose flour / Maida
  • 1/2 cup Besan / Gram Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar powdered
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 3/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 3/4 cup Ghee plus 2 more tablespoons as required.
  • Chopped Almonds for garnish.

Instructions

  • Measure and take the flours in a bowl.
  • Add the melted ghee, baking powder, baking soda along with cardamom powder.
  • Add powdered sugar and combine everything together.
  • Now add melted ghee and make sure you rub the flour with the ghee well.
  • When you can hold the dough to form a fist, it's ready, else you can add ghee as required.
  • I added another 2 tablespoons of ghee to get the right consistency.
  • Make small balls and flatten them into small discs between your palms.
  • Place it on parchment paper, top each with chopped almonds.
  • Preheat the oven to 150 C and bake the cookies for 30 mins.
