Green Garlic Pulao

Green Garlic Pulao is an easy and quick rice dish made with fresh garlic. The mildly spiced rice pairs well for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 2 tsp Green Garlic paste
  • 2 to 3 nos Green Chillies
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil

Instructions

  • Wash and soak the rice for 15 mins.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick pan, saute the finely chopped green chilies.
  • Next add the green garlic paste, saute well.
  • Drain the rice and add to the pan, saute well.
  • Add water, turmeric powder, salt and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer and cover, cook till done.
  • Serve with Chitiyal Gobhi or Mashed Cauliflower
