Ingredients

  • 1 cup Buckwheat Flour / Kuttu Atta
  • A pinch Cardamom Powder
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 4 cups Milk

Instructions

How to make Buckwheat Halwa

  • In a pan, melt the sugar with water and keep it aside.
  • Heat a nonstick pan with ghee and roast the flour stirring all the time to ensure its well roasted.
  • Add the melted sugar and combine well.
  • Next, add the milk and cardamom and bring to a boil.
  • Cook on low flame until the milk is all absorbed
  • Add ghee in intervals and cook for 10 mins.
  • Garnish with nuts and serve.
