No Yeast No Oven Pizza

No Yeast No Oven Pizza is an instant pizza that you can make home with your pantry ingredients even if you don't have an oven. This thin crust pizza gets beautifully done in a tawa on stovetop.

Ingredients

For the Pizza Crust

  • 1 cup All purpose flour / Maida approx 120 gms
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1.5 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • cup Water warm as required, I used about 1/4approx.

Pizza Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 tsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Processed Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Mixed Vegetables Roasted Capsicum and Onions
  • 1 tsp Butter for cooking over stovetop

Instructions

For the Pizza Crust

  • In a wide bowl, add the flour, salt, oregano, baking powder, baking soda and oil. Mix well.
  • Now add the warm milk and mix well again. Then slowly add the warm water as required to knead to a smooth dough.
  • Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.

For the Topping

  • Heat a kadai and roast the vegetables with 1 tsp butter and keep it aside.
  • Mix the pizza sauce with the herbs, tomato ketchup, chili flakes and keep it aside.

Assembling and Baking the Pizza

  • When ready to bake/cook the pizza, knead again.
  • Dust with little flour and roll out to 1/4-inch thickness. Using a fork make marks all over so that the dough doesn't double up.

Baking in Oven

  • Preheat the oven to 200 C.
  • Grease a plate plate with butter, place the pizza crust and bake at 200 C for 10 10 15 mins
  • Now spread the pizza sauce on top, followed by cheese and vegetables.
  • Bake again for 5 mins at 200 C
  • Serve hot

Cooking on Tawa

  • Grease the tawa with butter and simmer.
  • Cook the pizza crust with lid on for 5 mins.
  • Flip to the other side and cook for another 5 mins.
  • Now spread the pizza sauce on top, followed by cheese and vegetables.
  • Cover with lid again and cook for 3 to 4 mins
  • Serve hot
