Peas Paratha | How to make Matar Paratha

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 1 cup Peas Fresh
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 to 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 3/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking Oil for frying and cooking parathas
  • Butter for final cooking

Instructions

  • Knead the wheat flour with salt and water to get a pliable dough. Let it rest.
  • Wash and pressure cook peas, and make a paste.
  • Heat a nonstick pan with oil, saute cumin seeds, finely chopped green chilies, ginger.
  • Now add the boiled peas and cook till dry.
  • Next, add garam masala, chat masala. mix well. Allow to cool.
  • Divide the dough into equal, press out on the sides and place the stuffing in the center and gather the sides to cover completely.
  • Dust and roll out gently.
  • Heat the tawa and grease with oil. Cook the paratha on both sides.
  • Serve with Pickle and Curd
