Ingredients

  • 1 cup Amaranth Flour / Rajgira Atta
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ghee Melted
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Handful Almonds
  • Water as required

Instructions

How to make Amaranth Halwa

  • Heat a nonstick pan with ghee and roast the amaranth flour till the color changes to light golden brown color. Remove from the flame and set aside.
  • Melt the sugar with water and continue cooking till it gets thick slightly.
  • Now, add the roasted flour and mix well. Keep stirring continuously.
  • Add the melted ghee little by little while stirring the mixture.
  • When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, turn off the flame.
  • Sprinkle the almonds on top and serve.
