Memories the Essence of Life ~ Best of 2014!

It's that time of the year, when you feel you need to look back and ponder, see what you have done over the months and plan what you want to do next. When I actually think about it, time in relation to actual things, never works out that way. We end up doing the same old things, break resolutions faster than we make. And so laid back that it hardly ever matters.
This was one of the reasons why I hardly ever make resolutions. However that never stopped me from checking out what I have been doing. The year has had its ups and downs. Blogging Marathon has kept me busy in Spice your Life! This space looked it wanted more of my presence, though I still managed to do the cookbook challenge. I restarted the weekly menu, which was such a hit with the readers, so I am planning to do it more seriously.
The blog has seen the lowest in all years, so I must focus more on doing better.
The year started on a wonderful note, meeting my BM friends again, having a wonderful time at Vaishali's place for her son's marriage. My BM Friends have always been so close, our chat group got us even more closer. We chat non stop through the day, always in touch with each other, that we know what each of us is doing through the day.
We did two Mega Marathons for BM and both Indian States and ABC International, which made us spread our wings so wide!
I also managed to host the Bake-a-thon this year here.
While each month has been exciting and so hectic, trying to get things done on time, focusing more on kids studies became more important. We started coaching them at home and that took more time than we thought. I am happy that I still managed to do a decent number of posts on both my blogs in 2014.
I know I mostly end up being very sentimental in this post, so to make a change I want to keep it short and simple. I believe action speaks more than words, so here's to another wonderful year ahead. Wish you all a very happy new year.
I leave you to look at some of the pictures I loved through this year...for the best of the year!
    From Cooking 4 all Seasons!
    From Spice your Life!
I wish to thank my family, my BM friends and readers for always being there for me!

Valli your stats might say you have not done so. Well..but quality is more important than quantity...and I am sure you have done better in terms of quality..you are a pro and a master who is managing such a wonderful show., without you we would ever be able to achieve any goals. Kudos.Have a great year and we look forward to some interesting Mega marathons and regular BMs .
A very happy new year to. You. And your family.

Srivalli, I still wonder how you manage so much at the same time! So even if the posts are low, the amount of work you do keep various groups intact speaks volumes and I totally second Vaishali's comment. Enjoyed your recap and wishing everyone at home a very happy and healthy year ahead

Thank you for being such a hard working and gracious host. Without your themes and inspiration, my blog would never be so active and be so versatile as the different themes allow me to try things I probably would not do otherwise.

Thank you always for all your hard work and wishing you a fabulous 2015
