After what seem to be some never-ending days of cough and cold, I simply didn't have the thing in me to write a post. Though everything was ready, I didn't have the mood to write anything. However I can't let it just go right, having enjoyed these rolls, it's only natural that I share with you guys, something that was rustled up, to make a hearty meal in itself.

I was supposed to make chaats for week 1 since things happened unexpectedly, I had to change the theme but again went ahead making some of the chaats during the weekend.

Since I was making it on a Sunday afternoon, Konda actually said no to the chicken and wanted to dig into these rolls. She was upset I would make it on a day when she couldn't enjoy it properly. So I know I will be making it again.

    Peas Potato Roll Wrap
    Ingredients Needed:
    For the Roll
    Peas, boiled - 1 cup
    Potato, boiled - 1/2 cup
    Salt to taste
    Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
    Turmeric powder a pinch
Roasted Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
    Rava/ semolina for rolling over
    Oil for cooking
    For the Wrap
    Wheat Chapati - 2 rotis
    For the Onions
    Onions, juliennes - 1/2 cup
    Salt to taste
    Chaat Masala a pinch
    Kala Namak a pinch
Mint coriander chutney - 1 tbsp
How to make the Peas Potato Roll
MW Potatoes for 4 -5 mins, mash well. Boil the dried peas till tender.
Heat a Kadai with oil, add the boiled peas, all the spices, and mash well. Cook till everything is absorbed and the peas are spicy.
Now add the boiled potato to the peas and mix well. Make into barrels and roll it over rava to coat well.
Then pan fry the rolls in oil, till all the sides are cooked and roasted well.
Cut onions as juliennes, mix in salt and spices. Keep it aside.
Have the chutney made and ready
    How to assemble the roll
Once the rotis are made, on the top spread the green chutney as required.
Then add the onions, then place the rolls. Fold and serve.
