Here's another way of making Cauliflower Manchurian. Everybody at home loves cauliflower and we try to make it in as different ways as possible. While the elders at home are fine with any version, my boys are quite picky and this is one vegetable that they like to eat. They especially love the Manchurian version.

Ever since knowing they like the Manchurian, we have tried different ways. Surprisingly they are not so keen on the Cauliflower Pakoda and insist that we make it a saucy version. So we felt a new Manchurian recipe is in order.

While we had to pick a lot of veggies out of the rice, I saw they still enjoyed this Vegetable Fried Rice with Cauliflower Manchuria

I felt my Anniversary Party table will be complete with these combo dishes. So this joins my Anniversary Party for Kid's Delight, celebrating 7 years of Spice your Life!

    Cauliflower Manchurian

    For the Fried Cauliflower

    Cauliflower Florets - 2 cups
Maida / All purpose flour - 1 cup
    Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
    Red chili powder -1 tsp
    Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
    Ginger Garlic paste -1 tsp
    Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
    Red Food Colour a pinch
    Salt to taste
    Oil for deep frying

    How to fry the cauliflower

Wash and clean the cauliflower. MW the cauliflower for 5 mins. Drain and keep it aside.

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients list for the Cauliflower fry.

Heat a Kadai for deep frying. Drop in the boiled cauliflower into the batter and coat it completely. Then drop the coated cauliflower into the hot oil.

Fry on all sides and remove to a kitchen towel.

Continue with another batch, until all the cauliflower is fried.

    For the Gravy

    Green Chilies - 2 slit
    Curry Leaves handful
    Curds - 2 -3 tbsp
    Salt to taste
    Oil - 1 tsp

Heat a Kadai with oil, add the slit green chilies, curry leaves. Saute well.

Now add the fried cauliflower, saute well. Next, add the curds and mix. Season with salt and adjust with pepper if required.

    Serve with Chinese Fried Rice
