For the Chocolate lovers at home, especially my kids, I had to make something related to chocolate, if I need to get them to taste this new version at home. I wanted to make something with whole wheat flour but went ahead with all purpose flour and chocolate. For an added kick, I added loads of chocolate chips and the kids refused to budge from the place. The entire home smelled so awesome with the chocolate getting cooked, much more than what it smells when baking a cake. Maybe the enclosed oven keeps itself quiet. Whereas my waffle making was making us go hungry!

So along with my Savory Waffle, it was a heavenly Double chocolate waffle as the final part.

    Double Chocolate Pancake WaffleIngredients Needed:

    All purpose flour/ Maida - 1 cup
    Cocoa powder - 3 -4 tsp
    Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
    Baking powder - 3/4 tsp
Milk as required to make a flowing batter
    Chocolate Chips -1/2 cup

How to make the Chocolate Waffle

In a bowl, take the flour, add baking powder, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, whisk well for it to combine properly.

slowly add milk to mix into a lump less batter. Let it rest for 15 - 20 mins.

Heat your waffle maker, grease with butter. Pour the batter, add the chocolate chip on top.

Bring down the top and close it down. Cook till the app changes colour and you can see your waffle cooked well.

When you are able to lift the waffle, it's cooked.

    Serve hot with Chocolate sauce

    Notes:

I had added on the top, which means after cooking the
chocolate chips go down. If you want it on the top, you must add the
chocolate chip first and then pour it over the batter.
