For the second day of Holiday Bakes, I baked an Eggless Dark Chocolate Brownie, keeping my Bake-a-thon in mind. It's a two in one post, making the task easy for me. However, I again messed it and missed the date. I baked it only in the morning and didn't have enough time to work on the post. The Dark Chocolate Brownie is made with dark cooking chocolate and the recipe called for 200 gms of chocolate. The bar I had was only 100 gms and I used dark chocolate chip for the rest. So the recipe gets changed in every detail.

I baked this in the morning before leaving for work and thought Konda will get a chance to click them. However, she forgot and I came back to see it cooling down in the oven still. Though I tasted all the brownies I posted till now, I decided not to go beyond tasting. However this being dark chocolate, I just couldn't resist.

Needless to say, the brownie was simply so dense and chocolaty!

    Eggless Dark Chocolate Brownie

    Ingredients Needed:

    Dark Chocolate - 100 gms
Dark Chocolate Chips - 1/2 cup
    Unsalted butter - 3 tsp
    Castor Sugar - 1/4 cup
All purpose flour / Maida - 1/2 cup
    Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
    Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
    Curds/ Yogurt - 2 tbsp
    Milk - 1 tbsp

How to make Eggless Dark Chocolate Brownie

Melt the dark chocolate pieces and chocolate chip in MW for 30 secs, twice if required to make it soft. Add butter and again MW for 30 secs

Next add the flour, along with sugar. Mix well and finally add the curds and blend well.

Add baking soda and baking powder. Add milk and blend once again.

Preheat the oven at 185 C

Line a baking paper with parchment paper and transfer the batter to the pan. Bake at 185C for 30 mins.

That is one chocolatey brownie. And with an ice cream on the side, it would be match made in heaven.
