Sheera is a halwa made with Rava and wheat flour, quite popular in the North for the Navratri Season. Interesting fact about this halwa is that it is cooked entirely in ghee and simmer over and garnished with loads of nuts.
This is one of the fasting foods partaken in this season.
Sheera and Thatta Payuru Sundal is my Neivedyam for Navratri Day 9. Though as always, the days are hectic during vacation, I am happy I was able to observe the Navratri Pooja this year.
