We are starting the third week of BM#57, with yet another interesting theme. This theme was suggested by Mir and I ended up checking out so many wonderful dishes. It's called the Food52 and they have a recipe contest where winning recipes are selected on the different contests. Though I wanted to stay clear of Indian dishes, looking at this particular picture, I had to try.
It might be very much like how I make, only the measurement was way too high. I normally don't add so much of the whole spice. This biryani ended up being quite spicy. So handle with care as I increased the green chilies, more than what was recommended in the recipe.

Rice looks very flavorful. I usually don't make tomato rice but this past weekend I made something similar for my cousin who is a vegetarian. Added boiled eggs to it and she loved it. Both your pictures and the original picture are tempting.
