Welcome to my new space! Yes after many years of procrastinating, I have finally moved to my own space. It took many months of struggle to get the migration done as I was dealing with 9 years of data and I had to move through different plans to accommodate the huge content. The site is not fully completed, have loads of work to do still. However since I was planning to make it live during this Navratri season, here’s I am.

So please share your thoughts and feedback on the site so that I can work on it and improve. Meanwhile here’s a Sweet dish to welcome you all.

We have a sweet for beginning and of course for everything. This quick Gajar Halwa in the pressure cooker is just what you need to indulge when you crave for one. Just this pressure cooker method makes it easy when you are planning to make a party menu.

Quick Carrot Halwa

You can make the Carrot Halwa in Microwave or on Regular method on Stovetop

There is also the notion that one has to grate their way towards the final glorious texture. However, by cooking this in the pressure cooker, I showed it to a couple of people who had this notion that even if we grind it coarsely, you still end up with a great texture to the final product. However, one has to be very careful in grinding it to a coarse texture and not making it a juice.

    1. Thanks Nilu. Actually I used a smaller cup and used the same for rest of the ingredients. It will be around 200 ml. So you can increase the sweetness if you want. However the measurement I gave works out good.
