Chinese Steamed Bao Buns with Roasted Paneer and Vegetables is delicious buns steamed in a regular steamer and makes a great meal or snack in between. These buns are so versatile that you can stuff anything in between and enjoy.

While checking for steamed dishes that can work out as a meal, I came across this video where the same recipe is used to created four different recipes and presented differently. One was these Chinese Steam buns called the Bao. These buns are typically stuffed with some meat and vegetables and enjoyed a snack or a meal. I used roasted paneer/cottage cheese along with roasted vegetables.

This is part of my BM#84 Week 3, where I shared 3 different steamed dishes, Sri Krishna Vilas Style Kanchipuram Idli, Sev Khamani. I totally enjoyed this theme and would surely want to make more!

If you want an Indian Style Buns, try these Masala Khara Bun. For another interest steamed breakfast from Karnataka is this Akki Kadubu.
