Toor Dal Poli or Kandi Bobbatlu is a sweet flatbread from Andhra. The stuffing is made with Toor dal and jaggery with outer layer made with all purpose flour. This surely makes a great addition to your festival prasadams.

For the Navratri Day 2, Nava Durga observed is Brahmacharini (Mars). The food offered can be with Sugar, White Sweets, Lemon Rice/ Pulihora and Toor Dal (pigeon pea) which represents Mangala (Mars). So based on this I decided to make Toor Dal poli and Red Alasandalu Goggulu.

For making Toor dal Poli, its the same measurement as you would do with your regular Bobbatlu with Chana dal. Detailed recipe can be checked in the different Polis Recipes I have already blogged.
