For the second day of Seasonal special, cooking with Jackfruit, I made a Jam with Jackfruit. I got so delayed writing this post, even though the dishes were ready long back.So its a very quick post!

    Jackfruit Jam

    Ingredients Needed:

    Jackfruit pulp - 2 cups
    Sugar - 1 cup
    Cinnamon a pinch
    Lemon Juice - 2 tsp

    How to make the Jam

Pressure Cook the jackfruit with little water. Allow to cool and make a puree.

Heat a non stick pan with the pulp and add the sugar. Cook on high till the puree thickens.

Add cinnamon powder and then slowly add the lemon juice.

Cook till the jam comes together.

Spread on toasted bread and enjoy!

Jack fruit is not very popular here and I have nev tried anything with it. Making a jam with it is interesting.
