Kuthiraivali Arisi Payasam or Barnyard Millet Payasam is a delicious payasam made with the millet and makes an excellent alternate to regular vermicelli or rice.

I made this payasam for the final day of Navratri. I observed the Navratri with Nine days of Neivedyam with Millets and this was for the final day of Dasara.

We are starting the BM#94 week 2 with Millets as the theme. I will be showcasing three different dishes made with different Millets.

A delightful take on payasam with millets, Valli. I have slowly started replacing rice in my diet with these millets and enjoying each one of them. in different forms.

That's a nice and creamy payasam Srivalli. I too use millets instead of the usual vermicelli. I pressure cook it with milk and then add sweetener and roasted nuts.

Whenever I see a thali picture, I feel like tasting it immediately. You have made a wonderful spread for Navratri. The payasam with kuthiravaali looks awesome. Nutritious way to celebrate a festival.

This payasam with barnyard millet is the only sweet that I make frequently during navratri. Addition of condensed milk to it must have brought it to another level high in taste
