Microwave Upma is the fastest way to have your breakfast and it tastes just as great as it is cooked on a stovetop. Enjoy this easy and quick one now by making your traditional upma in a microwave.

This week I had picked up to make 1 dish in different appliances. I even thought of a sandwich maker and a waffle maker. Had to stick with these Baked Upma and Thakkali Upma on Stovetop in the end.

Of all the three, I felt the Microwave Upma was the easiest and time-saving. Especially if you are making for one person, this is surely something you should do. In fact, when I had this theme some months back, I also had the ready to make mixes, where I planned to make Ready to make Upma mix and in this theme, it was all about measuring for One and cooking in Microwave.

Things rarely work out as we plan and I skipped doing those themes. I was happy that I finally got this theme done.

I make this when I am lazy and have to cook for myself. I skip the tempering ingredients though but do add onions, green chilies and tomatoes.
