Paneer Poha Payasam is a delicious payasam made with freshly made paneer or chhena and poha/aval, suitable for any occasion and during this Navratri season, it's an apt neivedyam.

Amma shared her recipe with me when I was asking her what to make for the neivedyam today. Sundays are always hectic and I wanted a simple and quick dish to be made. It also means I need a new recipe. We wondered for a moment if we will like it.

If I hadn't made a series on Bengali Sweets series, I may not have liked it. However, working on chhena to make the sweets, all of us got used to it and we all liked this kheer very much! Using Poha in it makes a difference and the whole payasam gets done very quickly.

Do try it this season and enjoy!

Navratri Day 6 Neivedyam was Paneer Poha Payasam with Double Beans Sundal.
