Collegian Bhel is a popular street food of Surat in Gujarat. Surti Bhel has peanuts instead of mammras as in the regular bhel. The highlight of this Surati Collegian Chat is the crunchy peanuts topped with sev and other ingredients to make this a perfect evening snack or something you can grab on the streets.

While getting my list of popular Surati Gujarat Street Food, this Collegian Bhel was listed as one of the most popular and so easy to make. So I naturally decided to make this as part of the Street food platter I made for Surat Street Food.

Finally, after a year of making, this gets shared as part of the popular street food from different states. While other dishes like this Surati Paratha, Randeri Aloo Puri, or the Surat Tameta Na Bhajiya were a little time-consuming, this Collegian Bhel was almost an instant mix.

We always stock roasted peanuts at home, so getting the other things mixed up with this was a quick task. This Surti collegian bhel is one of the most popular ones among the college students and just about anybody who passes by. Another quick chat we can try is the Famous Green Bhel of Surat.

This week I am featuring street food from different states, like Chotu ke Pakode from Haridwar Street Food.

You can also check out this Katori Chat for a new recipe.
