Punjabi Breakfast Thali showcases different dishes that you can make for your breakfast or brunch. Serving Ajwain poori along with side dishes like chana masala, dal fry along with some sweets makes this a complete meal to enjoy.

When I planned a Punjabi Breakfast Thali, I decided on it as I was making it for our Sunday Brunch. We anyways make a chana masala along with either Aloo Masala or Dal. So I planned it in such a way that the Chana Masala was a new recipe along with the Dry fry.

Though you would expect a dal fry for dinner, I served it for this brunch as it was bland and goes well with the chana masala on the side. The sweets were a last-minute thought and I had to make dishes that were new as well as easy to make in such a short time. So both were almost instant types.

On the whole, this was a fantastic platter to enjoy. The Ajwain Pooris are the featured recipe in this thali.

The thali makes a scrumptious meal for anytime of the day, not only for breakfast. You have put together some of the popular Punjabi dishes no one can refuse. I would start with those desserts. 🙂

Poori aloo and poori chole are definitely a popular choice for punjabi breakfast. Love the desserts you sneaked in too.

Channa Poori is a treat by itself, adding dal fry makes it wonderful. and then you serve two sinful desserts..wow what do I say to that, delicious, gajjar halwa of course takes away the cake:))

What a way to start the day!! Poori and chole itself is a great combination, you have made it even better with a dal and rabdi! I also use the instant kind, but it is dessert and it completes the thali, so I will take it any day.

Please pass the plate valli. Two desserts I will enjoy and skip the main course. Poori and chole is our favorite combo and this whole platters looks absolutely scrumptious.
