    Cheese Aloo Pav Sandwich

These Aloo Cheese Roll stuffed Pav Buns make an easy, kid friendly dish which hardly takes time to get prepared.

This is an updated post that I originally shared in 2014. Reading back on what I had written on our Evening Tea Time Ritual, makes me sad and gets me so nostalgic. While as such it was a ritual for us, over the years, we have seen many phases. This post reminded me of our early morning coffee time or weekends elaborate teatimes.

Athamma is no more with us and not a day passes by, without me thinking how it used to be with her, especially during teatime. Hubby Dear is very fond of his tea. While I am not a tea person. However, I used to drink if Athamma makes it for me too.

I think with this theme, BM was started on this space and that makes this post a milestone post. The theme is Healthy Tea Time Snacks, focuses on snacks you can serve for teatime. Since I was making for Konda, I naturally resorted to simple ingredients and method. I have always been able to please her with simple and quick dishes, like this Pav Sandwiches. It has potato and cheese slice. I simply enhanced the taste with chili flakes and Italian seasoning.

With my kids, its never an elaborate dish they like. They mostly prefer even the basic one, however, only condition being it ought to be decked and dressed up all pretty. So even the simple dish, I cook it differently and I find both Konda and Peddu grab it. They both love buns and breads. While Chinnu doesn't.

So do try these simple and easy dish you can make for evening snack or a quick breakfast.

How to make Pav with Aloo Cheese Roll

Heat a tawa, grease with the table butter and roast the the pave on both sides. Now place the cheese roll on the bottom slice and cover. Cook for another couple of mins and serve hot with sauce.

    Substitutions & Variations
