Rava Onion Masala Dosa is a combination of both the regular Rava Dosa and the Masala Dosa. The Rava Dosa is stuffed with a Potato Masal and tastes out of the world!

I have Amma's version of Rava Dosa and an instant Rava Dosa already on the blog. So when I was thinking about what to make for R, my mind would've go away from Rava dosa and the onion Rava dosa that I normally eat.

I am very fond of Rava Dosa and will always order it when I eat out. We have a Tiffin shop near our office that makes one of the best Coconut Chutneys I have ever tasted. So just to enjoy that coconut chutney, we keep ordering dosas from that place. The Onion Uttappam and Rava Dosa are much sought out. I mostly end up ordering Onion Rava Dosa, I have seen my colleagues ordering with the masala.

So I decided I would make Rava Onion Masala Dosa and it was simply out of the world! We enjoyed dinner so much.

This version of Rava dosa is surely most wanted and you must try if you haven't already!

Rava Onion Masala Dosa is my choice for R in the AtoZ Flatbread and More, where I am making AtoZ Dosa Varieties. If you want to know what's R in AtoZ Indian Flatbread, check out.

Very nice. Thanks for reminding this. I remember eating Rava onion masala dosa from Saravana Bhavan in Salem years back. That used to be my staple dinner for 2 months 🙂

So tempting, I too am partial to rava onion dosa with the masala. Love it. During this trip to India had so many of them 🙂 I still have to learn how to make rava dosa well, as they don't turn out crispy.

I always order the onion rava dosai when eating at a south Indian restaurant. Making it at home needs a special skill. That looks so delicious and I am tempted to eat some right now.
