Zucchini Dosa or Zucchini Ka Cheela is a pancake made with Besan. This is a quick, no ferment Dosa that can be done within minutes for an easy breakfast.

When it was time to decide what I should make for Z, I immediately thought of Zucchini and decided to make this quick dosa. I got a Zucchini much ahead of making other dishes and the vegetable was lying in the fridge. Every time I open the vegetable basket, I would think about when I would make it.

This went on for a couple of weeks and the vegetable rotted. I was so upset that I wasted a vegetable and had to get another one. This time around, I decided to make it for our breakfast as I was planning for a quick dosa.

Zucchini Dosa is the choice for Z in the AtoZ Flatbread and More, where I am doing AtoZ Dosa Varieties. If you are interested to know what's for Z in the AtoZ Indian Flatbread, check it out.

Finally, we have reached the Z of the series, and what a fantastic series its been. Hope you have enjoyed this series.

Besan pancake is a regular in my home. This addition of rice flour and zucchini would be an interesting twist to my regular pan cake. That way I'll be able to make my daughter eat zucchini. Thanks for putting that in my mind 🙂

Whenever I go to Montreal, my son wants me to make besan chilas for him and I add zucchini to it as its difficult to find doodhi or methi where he lives. A healthy and tasty chilas for breakfast or as a quick snack.

The dosa looks so flavourful and colour ful. Adding zucchini to a dosa is a great idea for fussy eaters.
