    A to Z Dosa Varieties Recap ~ Mega Marathon BM#92

    It was yet another exciting month-long marathon in this space as well. The madness that started since this April that I must do a month-long marathon in this space as well, got me doing A To Z Dosa Varieties in the AtoZ Flatbread and More. I did AtoZ Indian Flatbread on SYL.

    I wasn't ready with any dish done, excepting a handful. I ended up doing a set of Dosas on Saturdays and a set of Rotis on Sundays. Our weekends were overflowing with dosas and rotis for sure.

    Anyway, it still was such an exciting journey all of this month!

    Before I talk about the dishes this edition, some info about what's been happening since 2013:

    AtoZ Dosa Varieties

    A to Z Dosa Varieties were:

    Alle Belle | Goan Coconut Jaggery Pancake
    Alle Belle is a simple to make delicious Goan Treat that can be served with Tea or as a Dessert. This will be a hit with kids as the pancake tastes wonderful with the stuffing inside.

    Bele Dose | Mixed Lentil Dosa from Karnataka
    Bele Dose or Mixed Lentil Dosa is a crispy thin dosa made with a mix of regular lentils. The lentils are called as “Bele” in Kannada. This is almost similar to the Adai we make in Tamil Nadu.

    Chilro is a popular breakfast dish from Sindhi Cuisine, made with Besan or Chickpea flour mixed with spices and vegetables to make a pancake.

    Dhuska is a deep fried pancake from Jharkhand and Bihar. The batter is made of raw rice, Urad dal and chana dal. It can be spiced with vegetables to make it more filling.

      So many new ones for me in this series . I love dosas but the idea of soaking and grinding , just makes me lazy but With your non fermented and instant Dosa’s , I might build courage to make those too .
      Excellent round up , wonder if I will ever be able to do even half of them . A Double Mega BM surely calls for a celebration , kudos ! on this stupendous task !

      I'm amazed at the variety of dosas and other batter flatbreads. Amazing collection of which I've bookmarked a few. I get so stressed out doing the BM and you manage on two blogs... hats off to you Srivalli.
